Do children under the age of 18 require the attendance of a responsible adult?

All young persons require a responsible adult to attend. They are responsible for child welfare and behaviour whilst on site.

If I wear prescription glasses or contact lenses, should I bring them?

If you wear glasses/contact lenses for long range vision, you are advised to wear these.

Do I need to have previous experience?

No, we specialise in taking total beginners to competent shooters able to hit a 2” target at 100m

Do I need a license?

No. You do not require any license. We are licensed to allow members of the public to come and have a go.

What is the minimum age?

Ideally 14. However, we will accommodate younger shooters within a group, offering a similar experience using an easier to use air rifle
If you have a junior younger than 14 who you wish to shoot .22LR, then contact us.

Do I require a police check?

Under current legislation we are required to conduct a basic security check to ensure that potential clients are not banned from shooting.

This applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offender’s institution for three months or more. This includes a suspended sentence.

  • A person sentenced to a period between 3 months, and 3 years is prohibited for 5 years from the date of release.
  • A person sentenced to 3 years, or more is prohibited for life.

What kind of rifles are used

We use precision custom rifles that represent the very best of rifles available. Each can hit a thumb nail at 100m under the right circumstances

Can we stay dry in the rain

Both the 100m and 30m ranges have shooting positions that are under cover. We can also shoot out to 150m in good weather.

Do I need ear defenders and glasses

Safety equipment (PPE) is provided. All rifles are fitted with sound moderators, so noise is kept to a minimum

What if I need to cancel

If you have booked and pre-paid, you may cancel at any time up to 7 days before your booking date. After that date, if the slot can be filled by others, you will receive a full refund

Can I take video or photographs

Photographs and videos are encouraged

Can I come and watch if I’m not shooting

You may accompany others as a non-shooter, however if you shoot, then you must pay

What kinds of ID are acceptable

Drivers license or any other form of photographic ID

Can I bring my own rifle

You may certainly bring your own .22 LR rifle so long as it is conditioned for either target shooting or vermin control. No high velocity ammo can be used as noise control is vital. A moderator is required.

What should I wear?

All shooting is done under cover. Wear what you are comfortable with, and for the season. Loose fitting clothing recommended. Some sturdy boots are recommended as the grass might be wet.
